BIOL213: Principles of Form and Function across the Tree of Life (co-taught with Dr. David Tank), spring every year.
BIOL484: Invertebrate Zoology, fall when not teaching biodiversity(see below). This course is built around labs, field excursions, and lots of fun in class. It also includes a mandatory week-end field trip at the McCall Outdoor Science School (see grad student Katie Peterson's account of the fall 2016 field trip here and the slideshow below for photos of the fall 2015 trip).
BIOL404: Dimensions of Biodiversity, fall most years . This is a research-based course designed for sophomore and junior students who would like to get more experience conducting their own research projects. We meet once a week for lectures and once a week for hands-on activities in the lab or in the field.
